PARTICIPATION UPDATES

Spectrum Collaborative will continue to bring LGBTQ+ youth and allies together with adult mentors to work creatively. After a year and a half of only meeting remotely, we have decided that we will be returning to in person meetings for our Fall session.

We are also excited to announce that Spectrum Collaborative is expanding! Beginning Summer 2022 we will now be hosting group meetings in Simi Valley, Oxnard and Ventura!

PARTICIPATE IN OUR PROGRAM

Our FREE program is available to high school-aged youth (12-18). Each program lasts 12 weeks in the Fall and Spring. Youth are paired with an experienced artistic mentor who they develop a project with to be displayed at our culmination showcase. Participants can choose any artistic area they are interested, including (but not limited to): Visual art, photography, theater, singing, writing, podcasting, makeup, costuming, musical instruments, monologue, poetry, graphic design, painting, comic writing, comedy, dance, choreography, and more!

Spectrum’s Summer session will begin June 23rd and end in September 2022.  We will meet 12 times, skipping any Holidays. All site locations will be meeting from 6:00-8:00 pm in Simi Valley, Ventura and Oxnard, CA.
